Purpose of Meeting
This is an introduction to the Sierra Club Kentucky Chapter for the Boyd County community. Sierra Club is the oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization in the country, and our Kentucky Chapter has been going strong for over fifty years! We will share information about who we are and what Sierra Club does in Kentucky, and invite local members as well as the general public to join us in a discussion of energy transition and job opportunities related to a green aluminum smelter possibly being built in the Ashland area.
