Who We Are: AKY Backyard Birders is a new community group that strives to educate folks on the importance of avian species in the region while providing a platform for bird nerds of the greater Ashland area to share their sightings, questions, and experiences. Whether you are a seasoned ornithologist, a casual birdwatcher, or a curious nature lover, AKYBB welcomes you to explore the outdoors with us!  

Our main platform is our Facebook group (search "AKY Backyard Birders"), however, we can also be found on Instagram (@AKYBackyardBirders) and iNaturalist (iNaturalist.org/projects/aky-backyard-birders).  

We will meet in the Ashland Meeting room and then go outside!
