Online Item Requests

Request for Purchase

The library welcomes suggestions for new items to add to the collection.

  • Must be a BCPL card holder to place a request
  • Not all requests can be fulfilled due to space and budget
  • Generally recommended for more recent items still in print
  • Please check the catalog first to make sure we don't already have a copy

Interlibrary Loan

Items can be borrowed from U.S. libraries via Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

  • Most items take about 2 weeks to arrive
  • Loan periods are 2-3 weeks
  • Subject to availability and restrictions of the lending library
  • Requests can be placed online or by calling 606.329.0090
