				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had a patron call today asking about extremely slow download speeds for Overdrive (Kentucky Libraries Unbound).  After asking him a few questions (and doing a test download on my phone), I suggested he call his cable provider &#8211; Windstream.</p>
<p>He very kindly called me back to pass along the information Windstream gave him.  They are indeed having &#8220;issues&#8221; in this area (which we all experienced last week).  He said Windstream will have them do a test on their individual computer to check speeds (and it will most likely be slow) and that they are &#8220;working&#8221; on the issue.</p>
<p>Windstream informed him that in a &#8220;worst case scenario&#8221; the problem would be fixed by JUNE.</p>
<p>So just an update in case you have patrons calling in with slow download speed issues with Overdrive &#8211; check to see if they have Windstream and if they do advise them of the current situation.</p>
