He very kindly called me back to pass along the information Windstream gave him.  They are indeed having “issues” in this area (which we all experienced last week).  He said Windstream will have them do a test on their individual computer to check speeds (and it will most likely be slow) and that they are “working” on the issue.

Windstream informed him that in a “worst case scenario” the problem would be fixed by JUNE.

So just an update in case you have patrons calling in with slow download speed issues with Overdrive – check to see if they have Windstream and if they do advise them of the current situation.
