Boyd County Public Library is excited to have been awarded an Arts Access Assistance grant through a program of the Kentucky Arts Council, the states art agency, which is supported by state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment of the Arts. Boyd County Public Library is sponsoring its third annual photo exhibit in August, in conjunction with the adult summer reading program, “Literary Elements.” “Literary Images” is the theme of the exhibit, which opens Friday, August 1. ASHLAND         Boyd County Public Library is bubbling with excitement, ready to get fizzy with kids this summer. “Fizz Boom Read” is the free eight-week summer reading program at Boyd County Public Library, which kicks off Saturday, May 31.
