Calling all local photographers! You’re invited to submit photographs as part of BCPL’s 4th annual photo exhibit and competition, “Escape the Ordinary.” The Escape the Ordinary reception will be held Friday, August 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Pendleton Art Center. “Escape the Ordinary,” BCPL’s adult summer reading program begins May 25 through September 7. Patrons may simply write a brief book review (at least 25 words) for each book read over the summer and earn rewards based on the number of submitted book reviews. Book reviews may be submitted online or stop by any branch to pickup a paper review form.
