OneClickdigital Frequently Asked Questions

These are the recommended settings depending on your computer and portable device of choice:

Option 1: A Windows computer and a reasonably new mp3 player, such as a Sandisk Sansa Clip or Zen Mosaic EZ100

1. Establish an account. Choose Windows as your operating system. Choose to use OneClickDigital Media Manager as your download method. Choose Other as your Portable Device Type.

2. Download and install the OneClickDigital Media Manager – it appears as an option as soon as you establish your account. (how)

3. Visit http://boydcoky.oneclickdigital.com/ and log in.

4. Select a title and click on the cover for more details.

5. Click on “Check Out Now” and follow prompts to allow the file to download.

6. When file is downloaded, Click “Open” . (This may look different due to differences in browsers.)

7. Media Manager should open. Log in if required. Your title should automatically download and transfer to your device if the device is plugged in. If it does not, you may need to close the Media Manager, open it again, and click on Download/Transfer if nothing happens automatically.

8. Once transferred, your audiobook will appear on your device as a number of files. The last part of each file indicates a chapter number, or IN for introduction, AN for afternote, etc.

TIPS –For the first time, try a children’s title since it will take less time to download for testing. Your mp3 player may need to be set to “Media Transfer Protocol” mode or MTP Mode. On a Sandisk Sansa device, for example, instructions for doing this can be found here: http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/207/~/verifying-and-changing-the-usb-mode-of-the-device-to-msc-or-mtp

Settings on the OneClickdigital website under My Account, Preferences should be:

Under Generic Preferences:
DRM – “All”
Default Device – “Other”

On the OneClickdigital website under Media Manager Preferences:
Default Player – “Yes”
Automatically download – “Yes”
Automatically transfer – “Yes”

Option 2: A Windows computer and an older mp3 player, such as a Creative Zen V, or any mp3 player that doesn’t work with the OneClickDigital Media Manager.

Some mp3 players are classified as MSC players instead of MTP players. MSC players function similarly to a flash drive. If your player is this type, use the following method.

1. Establish an account.(how) Choose Windows as your operating system. Choose Use Manual Download as your download method. Choose Other as your Portable Device Type.

2. Visit http://boydcoky.oneclickdigital.com/ and log in.

3. Select a title and click on the cover for more details.

4. Click on “Check Out Now” and follow prompts to allow the zipped file to download.

5. When file is downloaded, unzip (how) it and open it with Windows Media Player.

6. You will need to have a current version of Windows Media Player installed on your computer, and will be prompted if you need to update.

7. Play it briefly to download the license (you may need to log in again for this to happen.)

8. Sync the file to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player.

Settings on the OneClickdigital website under My Account, Preferences should be:

Under Generic Preferences:
DRM – “All”
Default Device – “Other”

On the OneClickdigital website under Media Manager Preferences:
Default Player – “No”
Automatically download – “No”
Automatically transfer – “No”

Option 3: A Windows computer and an Apple device, such as an iPod, iPhone or iPad (see also thisAcrobat Document with pictures)

1. Establish an account. Choose Windows as your operating system. Choose to use OneClickDigital Media Manager as your download method. Choose Apple Device (iTunes) as your Portable Device Type.

2. You will need a current version of iTunes on your computer. iTunes must be set to Manually Manage Music and Videos. To do this, click on your device in the left panel of the iTunes window and check the appropriate box under Options.

3. Visit http://boydcoky.oneclickdigital.com/and log in.

Default Player – “Yes”
Automatically download – “Yes”
Automatically transfer – “Yes”

Mango is an online language learning system that teaches real conversation skills for practical communication. Through fun and engaging interactive lessons, Mango makes learning a new language fast, easy and incredibly effective.

Mango’s unique methodology copies the way people learn when surrounded by a foreign culture – through practical conversation. Every lesson incorporates all 4 conversational components (Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Grammar and Culture), each of which is critical to your ability to communicate in a foreign language. At the same time, you’ll be increasing your ability to actually USE what you learn, with a variety of critical thinking and memory exercises. As you listen to and repeat after native speakers, you’ll learn more than just words and phrases. You’ll learn how those pieces can be rearranged and combined to make new thoughts, new conversations, and even more practical communication!

The Mango system is completely web-based and remotely accessible, so you can learn anywhere you have an internet connection — at the library, a coffee shop, or even at home in bed. Choose from 36 guided language experiences, 15 English as a second language experiences, and different levels of fluency. All you need is a library membership.

Mango is built to be both effective and fun. You’ll see progress with every session, and be encouraged to keep talking. In no time at all, you’ll be able to navigate all sorts of everyday situations — get directions, order a meal, make new friends — the possibilities are endless!

Start here!

Keep up with Mango:
