Join a book club in 2013

No matter what your literary taste, Boyd County Public Library probably has a book club to match it. We’ve made a few changes to our book clubs in 2013, trying to respond to what patrons have requested. The clubs meet every month, except December, and titles are provided at least a month in advance. Appy Hour

Do you sometimes find it hard to keep up with all the latest smart phones and apps? We do, too. That’s why we started the monthly Appy Hour program, with help from AT&T. Chess program is back

The Chess for All Levels program at the Kyova Branch returns this month after a summer hiatus. The program, which is great for all ages and all playing levels, is on the 4th Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The next session will be Thursday, Aug. 23. Players can bring their own boards or use one of ours. Teach, learn or just play!
