Yappy Hour in July!
Bring dogs to library for free drinks and appetizers

The library is inviting all four-legged furry friends (and their owners) to stop in and cool off at the Main Branch during July evenings.

Yappy Hour is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday throughout the month at the Main Branch, 1740 Central Ave.

The Main Branch location adjacent to Central Park and the new Library Commons makes it a prime spot for dog walkers. Patrons who are out with their pooch can stop in and check out a book or movie (or some other item) while their canine companion gets some water and a dog biscuit.

Library card sign-ups can also be done during that time. To do so, a person must have a photo ID and proof of address.
