Get ready for a ghoulish good time! Featuring a costume / cosplay contest, vendors, special guests (cosplayers, Ghostbusters, Imperial Legion lightsaber group and more), refreshments and vendors, BCPL’s Monster Bash is a fun way to kick off Halloween weekend. The event will be held after hours, from 6 – 8 p.m., on October 28 at our Kyova Mall branch.

The Teen Library Council (TLC) is a dedicated group of teens ages 13-18 who meet monthly with Elizabeth Crawford, Youth Services Supervisor and other staff to: Discuss and recommend books, movies, music, and more. The Boyd County Public Library (BCPL) is proud to announce that it has earned Exemplary status, the highest level of achievement given to Kentucky libraries by the Kentucky Public Library Association (KPLA)’s Standards Committee, for a second time.
