Throughout the month of November, children can write and drop off their letters to Santa at any of our three branches. In December, one letter will be selected each day through December 20 and posted on our Facebook page.
Boyd County Public Library will host its annual Haunt the Library youth event on Friday, October 28 The program starts at 11 a.m. at the Main and Kyova branches. Caregivers are invited to bring children under 12 that are dressed in costume to parade through the Library. There is no such thing as the “summer brain drain” at Boyd County Public Library! We just finished a record year in terms of participation in our summer reading programs for youth and teens. BCPL card holders can now use that powerful piece of plastic to visit the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center – free of charge. We recently added family museum memberships to the extensive list of items that cardholders can check out. The family pass (a $75 value) can be checked out for 21 days, just like a book, and can be renewed one time.
