At Boyd County Public Library, we are committed to creating an excellent library for our community, our staff, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and, finally, the nation.
- The library has defined the “Core Values”, or, the basic elements that form the foundation on which we perform work and conduct ourselves, establishing practices we use (or should be using) every day in everything we do. These include customer service, accountability, good work ethic, team work, and professionalism.
- The library has achieved Kentucky Public Library Standards at the “Exemplary” level, the highest level possible in the statewide guide to excellence that help define the public library services that should be available to all Kentuckians.
Staff also strive to laugh and instill the day with some fun. Connecting people with information, introducing readers to their next great find, and providing a place to gather is what the library is all about.
Below you will find the current job openings. By clicking on the individual titles you will be able to view the job description. In addition, every job begins with the “Core Values”.
