This is a 2011 movie about a parallel Earth that appears in the sky one night. It’s explained by orbits behind the sun.  The movie never actually goes to the other Earth so that’s a bit disappointing.  It’s mostly a story about the decisions and mistakes we make in life. I watched The Immortals for the first time with my husband on DVD the other evening; neither of us were terribly impressed.  The film started out slow and did eventually move into some action packed fighting.  However, the kicker for me was the inaccuracy of the film with regards to its mythological foundation.
